The Honma BERES PP-503 is a premium, horn-shaped mallet putter that is precision-engineered in Sakata, Japan, designed to provide high forgiveness, refined stability, and enhanced alignment for golfers with a straight-back, straight-through putting stroke.
Key Features and Description
Design & Shape: The putter features a distinctive "horn-shaped" or "bent-neck mallet" design with bold, angular lines that emphasize stability and ease of alignment. The shape creates visual symmetry at address and maximizes perimeter weighting.
High MOI Construction: It is a high-MOI (Moment of Inertia) putter, which helps minimize face twisting on off-center strikes, leading to more stable strokes and straighter rolls.
Multi-Material Build: The body is CNC-machined from soft SUS303 stainless steel, and it incorporates a lightweight 6061 aluminum sole plate.
Performance Weighting: Two 10-gram stainless steel weights are strategically positioned in the sole at the heel and toe. This deepens the center of gravity (CG), which further enhances stability and forgiveness.
Double Milling Face: The face features a new CNC-milled "Double Milling Face" pattern, designed to create a consistently soft and responsive feel and promote a better, more consistent roll for improved distance control.
Neck and Stroke Style: It has a mid-slant neck with minimal toe hang, making it face-balanced and ideal for golfers who use a straight putting path.
Finish and Customization: The putter is available in several finishes, including nickel plating, black IP, and luxurious 24K gold plating options. An upgraded ARMRQ graphite shaft is also available as a custom option for enhanced stability.
